Message from the Principal

Welcome to LUMIN Schools, St. Peter-Immanuel Lutheran, where education shines as brightly as the summer sun! I am thrilled that you have considered joining our extraordinary learning community. I admire your passion and dedication to educational excellence, and I look forward to partnering with you and your children.

 

I consider every year of education to be the finest! Our campus is evolving and expanding for all the right reasons. Our exceptional faculty is guiding, directing, and preparing your students for success daily.

 

Our school-wide emphasis will be on literacy! Throughout the year, we will engage in SOAR, or See Outstanding Achievement through Reading. Did you know that students who read 30 minutes per day are twice as likely to be college- and career-ready? AND students who read at least 20 minutes per day for an entire year will read 1,800,000 words and are likely to perform in the top 2 percent on standardized tests? How INCREDIBLE! I believe that establishing classroom libraries and providing students with daily protected time to read literature at their reading level is essential.  We can't wait to discuss how we will work together to create a community of strong readers who SOAR...See Outstanding Achievement through Reading this school year.
